The Playing Field is CLOSED
We hope that everyone is staying safe and well.
The decision to close the park is fully in line with Government guidance to try and stop the spread of SARS-CoV-2 - the virus that causes COVID-19.
Yesterday (Sun 5 Apr), two young adults decided that the closure of the Playing Field did not apply to them; they climbed over the gates to gain access and were playing football. Today (Mon 6 Apr) three young adults did exactly the same.
If you have young adults in your household, please can we ask you to remind them that the park is closed to absolutely everyone - there are no exceptions.
As soon as we can reopen, we will do. But until then, please stay safe and stay out of the park.
